Custom software, built around your business.

DevWharf is an engineer-run software studio in Spokane Valley, Washington: local in person, remote everywhere. You work directly with the developer who writes the code. Custom software shaped around how your business actually runs, at a published fixed price, owned entirely by you the day it launches.

01 / Custom systems

Systems built around your business, not the other way around.

Most software makes you bend to it: you reshape your work to fit the tool and glue the gaps together with spreadsheets. DevWharf builds the software around your workflow, your terminology, and your data, so the system grows with you instead of forcing a rewrite. You own the code, the hosting, and the data on delivery.

  • Hybrid CRM plus live dashboards with booking

One connected system: capture a lead, turn it into a customer, schedule the job, and see live business metrics, all in one place. No more juggling a spreadsheet, a separate scheduler, and a notebook.

  • A CMS shaped to your use case

A content model built around exactly what your business publishes and updates: the right fields, the right screens, and nothing else. Your staff self-serve without a developer and without generic-platform bloat.

  • Designs tailored to your real workflow

The interface follows the path your customers and staff actually take, so the common tasks are the easy ones. Less training, fewer support questions, a system people want to use.

The same approach solves very different problems across very different businesses:

  • Equipment or parts dealer: a filterable supplier catalog that keeps buyers on your site instead of the manufacturer’s, and turns every product into a lead.
  • Repair or service shop: online booking plus a customer portal plus a jobs dashboard, so fewer calls and fewer no-shows.
  • Trades contractor: a quote-to-invoice CRM with a pipeline dashboard, so nothing slips and you see which quotes are worth chasing.
  • Clinic or wellness studio: digital intake plus scheduling plus a front-desk dashboard, less paperwork and a calendar the team can trust.
  • Real estate or rental operator: a listings CMS plus an inquiry CRM in one system, so listings update in minutes and every lead is tracked.
  • Restaurant or event venue: reservations and booking plus a private-events inquiry pipeline, so high-value leads stop falling through the cracks.
  • Membership or class-based business: a member portal plus recurring booking and access, so members self-serve and admin hours drop.
  • Multi-location retailer: a unified inventory and catalog dashboard, one live view of stock and sales across every store.

Bespoke systems are scoped and value-priced by outcome, typically about $3,000 to $15,000 and up depending on scope, most with an ongoing care or hosting retainer. The next step is a short scoping conversation. Tell me how you work today and I will map out the system that fits.

02 / Website packages

Not every business needs a bespoke system on day one.

Sometimes you need a fast, professional website that does its job well, with a clear path to grow. Fixed prices published up front and honored to the dollar, with the person building your site as the person you talk to. Every build is hand-authored, performance-tuned, and delivered on infrastructure you own outright. Custom brand assets are included at no extra cost, so there are no stock-photo fees.

  • Starter, about $900

Up to 3 pages, custom mobile-first design, a spam-hardened contact form, and core on-page SEO. The fast, clean way to get online. First month of care included.

  • Professional, about $2,200 (most popular)

Up to 7 pages, fully custom design, a custom form (quote, booking, or intake), LocalBusiness and Service structured data, and a full brand asset set. Three months of care included.

  • Growth, about $4,500

Up to 15 pages plus a scalable content model, copywriting support, multiple custom forms, a full local SEO pass, and a complete visual system. Three months of care included.

Terms are simple: 50 percent deposit to book, 50 percent due at launch. Compare any of it locally; our packages start where most agencies’ conversations begin.

03 / Website care plans

A website is an investment. Care plans protect it.

Websites need updates, backups, and security attention to stay fast and safe. Pick a plan and stop thinking about it. Every package above includes its first months of care at no cost.

  • Care Plan, $95 per month

Updates, backups, security, uptime monitoring, and small content edits. Replies within one business day.

  • Care Plan Plus, $195 per month

Everything in Care, plus a monthly improvement block (an SEO touch, new content, or a small feature) and priority response.

  • Development Retainer, $600 per month

A reserved senior engineering block of about six hours each month for features, integrations, and automation. Unused time rolls one month.

  • Development Retainer Pro, $1,200 per month

The double block, about twelve hours each month. Built for catalog and systems clients whose software works as hard as they do.

See everything each care plan covers.

04 / Data, catalog, and automation

The hard-to-copy work.

Supplier catalog builder. For dealers, distributors, and retailers: I turn scattered supplier product data into a fast, filterable, searchable on-site catalog so buyers stop bouncing to manufacturer sites and the lead gets captured. A recent build for a local equipment dealer covered roughly 969 products and 742 self-hosted images across 9 brands, with a faceted filter and lead-capture calls to action. About $3,500 to $8,000 to build (roughly $400 to $800 per brand), plus a $150 to $400 per month refresh retainer to keep it current.

Internal business automation. Eliminate the repetitive computer work that eats staff hours: re-typing orders between systems, rebuilding the same report by hand, syncing data, and monitoring. A fixed-price build plus a modest keep-it-running retainer, judged on the hours it saves.

Integrations and AI tooling. Wire the tools you already use together so data flows automatically, and, where it helps, connect them to AI assistants through custom MCP servers that can safely read from and act inside your real business systems.

05 / How we work

Direct, transparent, and yours to keep.

  • Engineer-run, no middle layer

You talk to the person building your system, not a salesperson relaying notes. Requirements, trade-offs, and progress come straight from the engineer.

  • Transparent fixed pricing

A written scope and a fixed price before work begins, honored to the dollar. The only thing that re-prices a project is a change you request and approve in writing.

  • You own everything

Code, hosting, and domain are yours on delivery. No platform lock-in, no hostage data. If we ever part ways, you keep a complete, working system.
